FINANCIAL SERVICES
When your ATMs go offline, transactions stop. Revenue stops.
Resilient connectivity for ATMs, branches, and transaction infrastructure where downtime means lost revenue and regulatory risk.
Downtime isn't the carrier's problem. It's your financial risk.
Every offline ATM is measurable lost revenue. Peak hours. Weekends. Holidays. Each hour offline has a direct financial impact that exceeds the cost of resilient connectivity.
But the problem goes beyond revenue. In regulated financial services, uptime is compliance. Regulators expect availability reporting and SLA performance. When your infrastructure underperforms, you face audit exposure and penalty risk.
Most banks approach ATM and branch connectivity as a commodity. Single carrier per site. Manual failover if any exists. Your IT team escalates to the carrier when something breaks and waits for resolution.
That approach treats connectivity as someone else’s problem. But when an ATM network goes down during peak transaction hours, it’s your problem. Your revenue loss. Your regulatory exposure. Your customer complaints.
What we do for financial services
EDGE SOLUTIONS
ATM Network Connectivity
THE PROBLEM IT SOLVES
Your ATM network is distributed across urban centers, suburban locations, and remote areas. Each ATM needs reliable connectivity to process transactions. When one goes offline, you lose every transaction that would have occurred until it’s restored.
Single-carrier connectivity creates single points of failure. One fiber cut. One carrier outage. One routing error. The ATM is offline until the carrier fixes it.
HOW IT WORKS
We design per-site connectivity architecture using the optimal combination of carriers and technologies available at each ATM location. Urban ATMs with fiber access get multi-carrier redundancy. Remote ATMs with limited terrestrial options get cellular plus satellite backup.
If one connection fails, traffic automatically switches to backup. The ATM stays online. Transactions continue processing.
TYPICAL RESULT
Measurable reduction in ATM downtime. Elimination of extended outages caused by single-carrier failures. Improved regulatory compliance through better uptime reporting.
BACKUP SOLUTIONS
Satellite/LEO Connectivity
THE PROBLEM IT SOLVES
Your bank branches need reliable connectivity for transaction processing, customer service systems, and internal operations. When a branch loses connectivity, operations stop. Tellers revert to manual processes. Customers can’t complete transactions. The branch may need to close.
Traditional backup (second link from the same carrier) doesn’t solve the problem. Both links fail together when the carrier has an outage or when construction cuts the fiber.
HOW IT WORKS
We deploy satellite connectivity (Starlink, LEO) as true backup for bank branches. When primary terrestrial connectivity is healthy, satellite stays dormant. When primary fails, satellite activates automatically within seconds. Branch operations continue without interruption.
This is genuine redundancy. Different technology. Different infrastructure. Different failure modes.
TYPICAL RESULT
Branches stay operational during terrestrial carrier outages. Elimination of revenue-impacting branch closures due to connectivity loss. Improved customer experience during what would otherwise be service disruptions.
THE ENGAGEMENT
Proven Parity
Started as a 2023 pilot (30-50 ATMs) to validate architecture, demonstrating measurable uptime improvements and cost parity with legacy setups.
1,600+ ATMs
Converted to a full national rollout in 2024. Currently managing over 1,600 active sites as of March 2025.
13 Sites / Week
High-speed deployment velocity scaling the network, targeting approximately 2,100 resilient ATMs by year-end.
What we deployed
Edge connectivity combining fiber, cellular, and backup links per site based on location and carrier availability. Managed SIM connectivity for ATMs with real-time consumption monitoring and plan optimization. 24/7 NOC monitoring with SLA-backed availability guarantees integrated with client’s ATM management platform.
Why it worked
Multi-network architecture eliminated single points of failure across the ATM network. Proactive monitoring reduced incident response time from hours to minutes. TCO analysis showed cost parity with previous infrastructure while delivering measurably higher availability. Regulatory compliance improved through better uptime tracking and SLA reporting.
